Canoe rentals for trips down the scenic Betsie River. The Betsie River is slower and deeper than the Platte but is also challenging due to the many sharp bends and fallen trees. There is a lot of wildlife (including mosquitos) on this trip, but you will see very little signs of civilization on this trip and will see few other boaters. Facilities include 100+ campsites. There is water, electric, on each site and 30 sites even have sewer hookups. A sanitary dumping station is available for RV units with holding tanks, or a portable dumping service is offered daily.
