Michigan Legacy Art Park, Thompsonville

Over 35 major works of art by Michigan artists line trails that loop through a serene densely wooded forest. All the works reflect Michigan heritage and offer unique insight into the people and events that help shape the state. Nestled beneath the tree canopy you'll discover works referencing forestry, and mining, literary genius and military conquest. You will pause at poetry rocks where words provoke contemplation and you'll learn more about the natural history of Michigan's two peninsulas.
